Christmas is just around the corner, and since the start of the month, I’ve been trying to curate my Christmas list. It took me a while to come up with what I actually want and the past few weeks I’ve made a lot of edits and revisions, but I think that I’ve finally finished my last draft. Looking at my list I would say that it is fashion/lifestyle based with a lot of shoes. This list is in no particular order, but without further ado here it goes.
Grape Earrings
As someone who is of Caribbean descent, jewellery is a central aspect of the culture. I grew up watching the women around me put on jewelry for special occasions, for parties and weddings my grandma always goes into her jewelry box to get her gold bangles. Jewelry is an accessory, that adds the finishing touches to complete your outfit. Getting your first ID bracelet and nameplate necklaces is like a rites of passage. Grape earrings can also fall into this category for women and children alike. I’m more of a silver person, but I want to start building my jewelry collection, and I think that these earrings would be a great way to do that. Grape earrings are significant because they represent good fortune and fruitfulness.
Lioness - Dollhouse Jean
Lioness is a brand that I’ve been admiring for a while now. I first discovered them while shopping at Saks Off Fifth a couple years ago, and since then I’ve been building my collection. I think these would make a great addition. I really like the paneling detail and the lace up sides. They kind of remind me of the Leah Jeans by Samaria Leah. While there not the exact same, they share some of the same characteristic, and they are also a cheaper alternative.
Adidas - SL72 OG
I’ve actually been looking at these shoes for a while, the red colour way caught my eye this summer, and I also really like the metallic purple pair as well. They were actually what I originally intended to put on my list but they’re sold out in my size. This led me to search for something else and I came across this pair which I love. I really like the pony hair detail and the cracked metallic stripes. I think that the different textures and the contrast that they create work really well together to create a unique shoe.
New Balance - 9060
I love a pop of colour in my closet, and that is what this shoe essentially is. I really like how bright they are and the pink accent that they have. Pink is a core colour within my closet, whether baby pink, hot pink, or anything in between and I think that these shoes would pair well with a lot of my clothes. Overall, the colour combination is not typical but it works, its very eye catching.
coreCHAOS - Carabiner Necklace
I actually discovered these carabiner necklaces in
’s article which I recommend checking out because it contains a lot of cool finds and inspo. The coreCHAOS site has a lot of nice pieces, but this necklace is the one that I liked the most. I really like the assortment of chains, charms and crystals as well as the fact that it is actually a 2 in 1. Which means that it can be styled separately or paired together. I also really like the stacked layered look of the necklaces.
Clarins - SOS Lashes Serum Mascara
This next item goes for about $40 (insert Baby Boy meme). The year was 2022 and Clarins lip oil was trending on TikTok. I was influenced and so I bought it, and with it came the mascara as a sample. While the lip oil did not work for me AT ALL. The mascara really grew my eyelashes. After searching up the product and discovering the price I haven’t repurchased, but here’s to hoping someone buys it for me!
Doc Marten’s - Sinclair Max
I have a screenshot of the original Sinclair boots in my camera roll from 2 years ago and I’ve wanted them ever since. This summer I came across the Max pair and with a 2 1/4 inch sole what more can I say, I’m sold! What I really like about these boots is the zipper insert. Two differences between the Sinclair Max and the regular Sinclair boots is the platform and the smooth leather, which I actually like better than the pebbled leather. Also, these are currently 50% off on the Doc Marten’s site.
UGG - Classic Slipper
These would actually be a repurchase, I got them for Christmas a couple of years ago and there one of my favourite and most comfortable pieces of footwear. I wear them almost everyday in the fall, and the cost per wear is definitely down to zero at this point. Because i wear them so often, they are starting to become worn out, and they probably won’t last that much longer so I’d love to replace them.
Stocking Stuffers
The next few items will just be stocking stuffers that range from around $15-$25.
Lash Kit
I like to do my eyelashes sometimes, and there are a lot of kits online, which is very convenient because it comes with all of the tools that you’ll need so that you don’t have to buy each item separately.
Sleep Mask
I’ve loved sleep masks ever since I was little, and it’s probably placebo but I feel like I have a better night sleep when I have one on. Also, they’re great for blocking out the sun from shining through the window when your sleeping.
Makeup Bag & Brushes
I’ve had my makeup bag and brushes for a while and I think it’s time for a re-up. Winner’s usually has a lot of cute makeup bags, and when it comes to brushes I like to use the Real Techniques brand.
Books
I would usually add a few books onto my list, but my TBR is very long. I have at least 10 physical books that I’ve bought and need to read before I buy anymore or ask anyone to buy me any.
Well that’s it! Thanks for reading, let me know what your list look like in the comments below.

Oooouuu, love that necklace and those SLG’s are the best ones I’ve seen out so far. Good eye! Also the grape earrings are so nostalgic ❤️
